Gender Equality, Social Inclusion and Intersectional Programming in NGO's Course

Introduction

Gender equality and social inclusion are fundamental pillars of sustainable and equitable development. This course equips participants with advanced knowledge and practical skills to design and implement inclusive programs that address structural inequalities and promote equal opportunities for all.

The course explores gender analysis, social inclusion frameworks, and intersectional programming approaches that recognize how overlapping identities such as gender, age, disability, ethnicity, and socio-economic status influence access to resources and opportunities.

A strong emphasis is placed on integrating gender mainstreaming into development programming, ensuring that all interventions are responsive to the diverse needs of women, men, girls, boys, and marginalized groups in society.

The training also focuses on intersectionality as a critical analytical tool for understanding multiple and overlapping forms of discrimination and exclusion. Participants will learn how to design programs that address these complex inequalities effectively.

In addition, the course examines policy frameworks, international conventions, and organizational strategies that promote gender equality and social justice, including CEDAW, SDGs, and inclusive development policies.

Emerging trends such as gender-responsive budgeting, digital inclusion, feminist leadership, disability-inclusive programming, and data-driven equity analysis are fully integrated. By the end of the course, participants will be able to design and manage inclusive, equitable, and transformative development programs.
