Introduction
Sustainable peace and inclusive governance cannot be achieved without the active participation and leadership of women in decision-making processes. This course provides a comprehensive exploration of peacebuilding and conflict resolution while emphasizing the critical role women play in governance systems. It equips participants with the knowledge and practical tools required to promote inclusive leadership, strengthen institutions, and foster long-term peace in diverse contexts.
Conflict situations often deepen inequalities and marginalize women from formal governance and peace processes. This course examines the structural, cultural, and institutional barriers that hinder women’s participation and influence. Training Approach
The instructor led trainings are delivered using a blended learning approach and comprises of presentations, guided sessions of practical exercise, web-based tutorials and group work.
