Women’s Health, Reproductive Rights and Gender-Sensitive Programs Course

Introduction

Women’s health and reproductive rights are central to achieving gender equality, social justice, and sustainable development. This course is designed to equip participants with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills to design, implement, and manage gender-sensitive health programs that promote the wellbeing and rights of women and girls.

Despite global progress in health systems, many women still face challenges such as limited access to reproductive health services, maternal health risks, gender-based discrimination, and lack of autonomy over health decisions. This course addresses these gaps by providing rights-based and gender-responsive approaches to health programming.

The course provides a deep understanding of reproductive health frameworks, gender-sensitive health systems, and international human rights instruments that protect women’s health rights. Training Approach

All facilitation and course materials will be offered in English. The participants should be reasonably proficient in English.

Certification
